Spontaneous Combustion
When fire errupts without fire being presented.
Spontaneous combustion occurs in hay, coal or other materials are stored in piles or bulk quantities. Generally speaking, it begins to decompose and as decomposition ensures and heat cannot escape, or fumes not dissipate, combustion will occur. This also happens, as many of us know, with oily rags when left in a clump or pile, rather than spread out to dry.
When the temperature rises, eventually it comes to a point at which fire starts.
There are many tales about human combustion. Supposed records say that a person would be completely burned up on one side of the body, and not the other. Some accounts claim that curtain within inches of the cremated body were not touched by the intense heat. While other accounts tell of scorched walls next to the people who combusted spontaneously.
It is hard to find documented modern day facts on spontaneous human combustion. Author: admin :: Hits: 0 :: Added: Mon Nov 20 2006 :: Last Modified: Wed Apr 25 2007
