Old Fashioned Vegetable Stuffing
12 ounces prepared seasoned dressing or corn bread stuffing mix
1 cup melted butter or margarine
1-1/2 cups fruit juice, broth or water
1-1/2 cups fairly finely chopped celery
1 cup minced onion
- Combine dressing with melted butter or margarine, celery, and onion
- Stir in liquid, mixing very well
- Stuff loosely in body and neck cavities
- Skewer or knot/sew the cavities closed
- Bake as usual
- Makes about 6 cups
