Aging - Don't Go Down Without A Fight

Reducing fine lines and wrinkles is a daily thought for both men and women. It may not be on your mind every second of the day, but the thought is there. Is there a miracle cure? Unfortunately, no. Are there skin care products out there that work? Absolutely YES.

During spring break, you, all of your high school or college friends lived at the beach. You looked so good with your deep, dark tan and you were so worry free! Even if you didn't go to the beach, perhaps you were a "lake lover", boating around with the wind in your hair and chasing that same deep, dark color.

Even if you weren't a water girl, you were more than likely enamored with the way your skin looked when it was tan -- smoother, slimmer, sexier. Yep, worth every hour spent in the tanning bed or pool-side to get that golden color.

Or so we thought.

Now we feel as though we're cleaning up the mess we made. Our skin has new and interesting things to offer us: uneven color, fine lines, patches that look like our freckles decided to band together in perfect unity creating one large blemish... expect they call it an age spot. How dare they! Couldn't we just call it a souvenier from our best spring breaks?

Sure, your part of the damage cannot be completely repaired -- but it's never too late to love your skin again. Our days click off without our permission, and our skin begins to show all of our 'souveniers'. What we need now is protection and repair; protection from what's coming in the future and repair for what we've already done to our skin.

It is important that you have a good skin care product to help erase the signs of aging, and to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. It is also equally important to give your body what it needs --water, vitamins, minerals, protein and carbs. Nutrition is very important to your overall health. The right combination of these essentials can help improve your health and how your skin looks.

Product developers are aware that skin nourishment can occur topically or internally, and that the two methods are so closely tied that you can't do one well without the other. If an unhealthy person uses the best skin care in the world and follows the instructions to the letter, then sure, they will see an improvement in their skin's appearance. They will be able to reduce fine lines and wrinkles. But it won't be enough for the skin to look its best. What you put inside your body is equally important as what you put on your skin.

Supplements that contains L-Lysine, zinc, vitamins A and B6 are essiential for people with troubled skin. You should also drink plenty of water. If you smoke, you should think about quitting.

Getting older is not an option for any of us... it just happens. However, as we get older, we get wiser. We know to put on at least an SPF8 sunscreen when we go outside, and to take vitamins and drink plenty of water. We know we can be beautiful in any shade.

We are encased in our largest organ, and if we want our skin to be healthy we have to have a healthy body. So if you want to change your skin from "dry" to "luminous", drink your water, eat your veggies and feed your skin with a daily helping of skin care products that are good for your skin and vitamins that work.
